My Beloved Brother in Law, Sal,you were a shining star in the dark sky. You came, touched not only my sister's life but that of everyone associated with her. Sal,if only you were here to see how the love you gave the world is been reflected back to us who were closer to you. Your Son Joshua will grow up to become a great man, he will reap of the goodness you left behind and he will grow to learn how much loved his father was. We grieve, but we rejoice also in the life you lived; one devoid of anger, devoid of hatred and devoid of animosity. I will never forget how, each time I came into New York, you would be there at the airport to meet me, with my sister and son, who would have dragged you from work! You were always ready to drop all you were doing to answer your family's call and all without a hint of complaint. I always wondered how on earth you kept your cool when my sister would call you half way through your job "Honey, I need some milk" and the next minute you were at the door with it and still in good spirits drive off back to work! If we recognized angels on earth, I would swear you were one and I feel honoured and privileged to have known you. Sleep well my dearest brother, sleep well our Big Sal.
